I appreciate tech following up even I the problem of going down was probably something couldn't handle. One the channels I subscribe to sent an email with their latest video and they mentioned the problem lasted about 1.5 hours and they were off line.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I installed linex mint on a dvd but it did the same as the windows dvd and started but just went back to trying to start from the C drive so I lthink there must be something wrong with the hard drive. Thank you for trying to help but it looks like I may either have to buy a new hard drive or dump the computer.

This has been an exellent site for help over the years and I am very sorry to see you go. There is no other site as good as your one and I don't know why the polititions do not realize that.
